Annual Carolina Classic Basketball Tournament for Boys & Girls Clubs

Our Boys & Girls Clubs provide

• A safe, positive environment: We create a sense of physical and emotional safety with clear boundaries and rules.
• Supportive relationships with peers and adults: We help kids form meaningful connections to staff and friends. Members experience warmth, closeness, acceptance and guidance.
• Opportunities & expectations: We reinforce high expectations for all youth, and create the opportunities to gain a wide variety of practical skills as well as moral character.
• Fun: We create happiness, fun and enjoyment for all members through personal connections and a family atmosphere.
• Recognition: We use rewards and incentives to affirm young people’s intrinsic worth and accomplishments.

Since 1986, the Carolina Classic has raised more than $1.2 million to support more than 100,000 children who have attended our local Boys & Girls Clubs through the years.
